Foster Wheeler Energia, S.L.U. (FWES) is the global office for Foster Wheeler responsible for Industrial Boilers on a worldwide basis. We have our engineering and execution center located in Madrid and our wholly owned fabrication facility in Tarragona, Spain. Our product lines include: package boilers, oil & gas field-erected boilers, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), grate-fired boilers, BFB boilers, SD boilers, biomass-fired boilers, poultry litter fired-boilers, condensers, feedwater heaters and solar boilers. In addition, we have extensive experience executing aftermarket projects related to pressure part modifications, emissions reduction (NOx, etc.), life assessment studies and spare parts. FWES has executed complex international projects throughout the Iberian Peninsula, Europe, in the Middle East, South America, Africa, and in China - covering 5 continents - since its formation in 1969.

Within Spain approximately 70% of the coal-fired thermal power generation utilizes Foster Wheeler equipment supplied by FWES. Our experience in the world marketplace, and support from other global Foster Wheeler offices when needed, make FWES a premier industrial boiler supplier.

Our latest endeavors include an increased presence in the emerging global renewable energy initiatives, specifically as they relate to solar facilities where Foster Wheeler has been a world leader since the 1970s. Our experience with biomass steam generation will also be a factor in areas where solar energy is not an option.
