Our industrial circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generators are well known in the industry for their low emissions, reliability and long life. Our history of developing innovative combustion technologies for industry began with our bubbling fluidized-bed (BFB) steam generators, from which we have developed and advanced robust CFB technology for a diverse range of industrial fuels and energy needs. We are now a leading supplier of industrial CFB technology, supplying over 210 units, with unit sizes up to 150 MWe.

• The best fuel flexibility
  
Besides its emissions performance, fuel flexibility is the 'crown jewel' of our CFB technology. Our CFB combustion process is ideally suited to burning a wide range of fuels, including low-quality fuels, fuels with a high moisture content and 'waste-type' fuels. Our fuel experience is unmatched, including all coals, lignite, petroleum coke, biomass, waste coal, refuse-derived fuels, agricultural and pulping waste, and municipal solid waste.


• Ultra-low emissions
  
Low emissions are a key benefit of our CFB technology. Our CFBs operate at the lowest combustion temperatures, with the longest burning times, resulting in naturally low NOx emissions and high combustion efficiency. Further, our CFBs can capture sulfur as the fuel burns and can use low-cost selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) to achieve ultra low NOx and SOx emissions in the furnace without the need for additional flue gas cleaning equipment.
