Visbreaking
| Foster Wheeler and UOP offer the coil visbreaker
design in which the desired conversion and viscosity reduction is achieved within a
dedicated soaking coil in the furnace. In addition, we have engineered a number of soaker
type visbreakers in which the majority of conversion reactions take place over a longer
residence time in a soaker drum. Since 1990, Foster Wheeler and UOP have designed and licensed more than 50 visbreakers. |
