Senior Piping Engineer

	Company	Foster Wheeler Shanghai
	Education	Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Plumbing
	Experience	Over 10 years experience in petrochemical /chemical / pharmaceutical plant with equipment layout, pipe layout, materials control, and stress analysis
	Duties	1.Execute work in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards. 2.Review the project execution schedule developed by the Cost and Planning Department and to develop the detailed schedule for Piping Engineering and/or Design activities if necessary. 3.Prepare the PDS Piping Database with assistance from CAD support 4.Review relevant project design work and in particular: -Engineering Flow Diagrams with reference to assigned equipment -Line list -Equipment drawings and mechanical Vendor's documentation -Cable tray routing drawings -Civil, structure and building service drawings 5.Prepare material requisitions for the defined bulk material. Issue material requisitions for enquiry, order placement and for any subsequent revisions. 6.Participate in model review meeting as project required 7.Adivse the Principle Piping Engineer of: -Any major slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action. -All policy matters, major thecnical problems and unresolved differences with other Groups. 8.Participate in the HAZOP of Engineering Flow Diagrams as necessary.
